Annual Winter Complimentary Plumbing Inspection
A plumbing inspection is a thorough examination of your plumbing system to identify potential problems before they occur. A professional plumber will typically inspect the following:
-

-
Supply lines and drains: All pipes, including indoor and outdoor supply lines and sewage lines (only readily accessible lines)
-
Water pressure: Check home’s water pressure and check for developing water pressure issues
-
Water filtration: Check the water filtration systems (if applicable)
-
Venting and draining: Check the venting and draining systems in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room (only readily accessible lines)
-
Shut-off valves: Check the shut-off valves
-
Sump pump: Check the sump pump and discharge (if applicable)
-
Caulking: Check the caulking for issues that could lead to water damage
-
Leaks: Check for leaks inside and outside of the house, including hose bibs (does not include underground or under home)
-
Water heater: Check the water temperature, pressure relief valves, and pipes

Toilet: Check the water levels, flappers, and filler mechanisms
A more in-depth inspection that includes video camera inspection of waste lines can be added at a cost of $250–$500 (depending on size of home).
